Bio

Jessica Nelson is a Richmond, VA resident who was bought up in a home with mainly boys who watched and played football.  Because she was the youngest of all her siblings the boys would never let her play saying “we don’t want you to get hurt so you can’t play”.  Hearing this statement has driven her to want to play the sport and show the “boys” that just because you are a girl doesn’t mean you can’t play football.  
When she attended Park View High School she played Basketball from her freshman year to her senior year on the varsity team making several newspaper article because of her determination for the game.As she played hard and loved baseball she still had an urge to play football.
She became a fan of the Redskins watching her favorite player Trent Williams.  She has expressed that playing football now that she is older gives her a way to release stress but at the same time gain discipline.
